Pat Schaeffer is a member of TLAW’s  Advisory Council, and we are eager to share her perspective on women’s leadership and organizational culture, her areas of expertise.

Pat is the founder of Talent Strategy Partners, a leadership development consulting firm based near Philadelphia, Pa.nPat has a keen interest in the ways women leaders succeed in organizations and the role of company culture in their success with a background in HR and consulting.

TLAW engages with many women leaders in nonprofit organizations, which gives us an understanding of leadership roles in this sector and ways to create systems for developing women in nonprofit leadership. We advocate for women leaders in communities by understanding their experience and being aware of their organizational needs. Social skills are important for women to hone in addition to skills such as selling, negotiating, financial acumen and executive presence.

The work done by Pat’s firm is helping to develop a new perspective of women in leadership roles. Her interests also emerge in her leadership as the Board Secretary for Beacon, a nonprofit executive networking organization. As part of its mission, Beacon supports people who are in career transition enabling them to meet others and develop their career.

In both board and career roles, Pat uses her strengths of collaboration, influencing skills and innovation to great advantage to support organizations. TLAW supports and implements a collaborative model by bridging gaps between nonprofits, communities and corporations to build awareness of causes and underserved groups. We are delighted to have a strategic partners who share this philosophy and thrilled to have Pat on our Advisory Council and in our network.
