TLAW engages with many women leaders in nonprofit organizations, which gives us an understanding of leadership roles in this sector and ways to create systems for developing women in nonprofit leadership. We advocate for women leaders in communities by understanding their experience and being aware of their organizational needs. Social skills are important for women to hone in addition to skills such as selling, negotiating, financial acumen and executive presence.
The work done by Pat’s firm is helping to develop a new perspective of women in leadership roles. Her interests also emerge in her leadership as the Board Secretary for Beacon, a nonprofit executive networking organization.
